The NRS (National Reporting System) is now looking at the preparation adult education instructors have. To help our State document the qualifications of our adult education practitioners, the NCCCS College & Career Readiness division has implemented a series of training courses that lead to certification at varying levels. The core level certificate, also called the Silver Certificate, requires that the instructor complete seven (7) face-to-face courses and an online orientation course. To register for the face-to-face courses, you must go to the NC State Continuing Education website. Instructions for registering for the online course can be found on the next page.
